Stamford Health has a unique rheumatology opening in Stamford. In addition to providing excellent person-centered care, the incoming rheumatologist will have some academic duties including teaching internal medicine residents and medical students, and participation in clinical trials. Stamford Health is a major teaching affiliate of the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, with 4 stand-alone residency training programs in Internal, Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery and OB/GYN. Work side-by-side with a collegial, supportive multidisciplinary team. There is an on-site pharmacy to handle prior-authorizations and insurance issues and a medical infusion suite at Stamford Hospital, 5 minutes from the practice.
Requirements:
- BE/BC in Rheumatology by the ABIM
- Ability to obtain/maintain CT medical license
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to holistic patient care and teaching
